Craft, Space & Scale: A New Chapter for GH Framing in 2026
As the year settles into its rhythm, we find ourselves in a moment of quiet but meaningful growth at Graham Harrison Framers. From the steady craft of our London workshop to the expansion of our production capabilities in East Sussex, this period marks an important evolution in how we support artists, collectors, designers and interior spaces.
At its core, our work remains unchanged: thoughtful design, conservation-led practice, and beautifully made frames and mirrors built to last for generations.
Framing in London: Where Craft Meets Context
Our London workshop continues to be the creative heart of GHF. Every project begins with a conversation about the artwork, the space it will live in, and the atmosphere a frame can help create. Framing is never just functional; it is architectural, aesthetic and deeply personal.
Working across London, we design and produce bespoke framing for:
• Fine art and photography
• Archival documents and works on paper
• Private collections and heritage pieces
• Galleries, interior designers and commercial spaces
Using conservation-grade materials and traditional techniques, each frame is made to protect the artwork while enhancing its presence within a room. Proportion, tone, texture and finish are all considered as carefully as the artwork itself.
Beyond Frames: Bespoke Mirrors for Interior Spaces
Alongside our framing work, we continue to design and produce bespoke mirrors for residential and commercial interiors. Like a frame, a mirror can define a space adding light, balance and architectural structure.
Our mirrors are made to order, with custom finishes, hand-crafted mouldings and tailored proportions that allow them to sit naturally within both contemporary and period interiors. Whether a single statement piece or part of a wider interior scheme, the same craftsmanship and attention to detail guide every stage of the process.
Expanding Our Production Workshop in East Sussex
The opening of our East Sussex production workshop allows us to grow while protecting the standards that define our work. This additional space supports larger-scale projects and specialist finishing processes, while giving us the room to train and develop the next generation of skilled framers.
This expansion means we can better serve:
• Large residential and architectural projects
• Gallery and exhibition programmes
• Interior design schemes requiring multiple bespoke pieces
• Complex finishes and hand-crafted mouldings
Increased capacity does not mean faster for the sake of it, it means the right time, the right processes, and the right hands on each piece.
Framing for the Way We Live Now
The relationship between artwork, frame, mirror and interior space is something we think about constantly. How a frame holds a drawing. How a mirror changes the light in a hallway. How materials age over time. These small decisions shape how art and objects live with us.
Throughout the year, we will be sharing more from our workshops — from traditional techniques and specialist finishes to the stories behind recent commissions — along with guidance on choosing the right framing and mirror solutions for different environments.
For us, it is always about balance: heritage craft, contemporary spaces, and pieces made with care.
